The J1 and J2 executive committees have at an extraordinary meeting decided to postpone all regular matches scheduled through mid-April (Sections 4-6 in J1, 5-7 in J2 and 3-4 in the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup groups) in view of the electric power situation within the regions supplied by the Tohoku and Tokyo Electric Power Companies, concern for the safety of stadiums and spectators and other such factors. It has been decided to resume J. League play with the matches scheduled on Saturday, April 23rd. All matches in April within the areas served by the Tohoku and Tokyo Electric Power Companies are now expected to kick-off at 14:00 or before, the details to be arranged.
